This prestigious black-tie event has become a focal point in the year to recognize and celebrate achievements of angel and early stage investment. The Awards Dinner will be held at the magnificent Swan Dining Room, at the historic Shakespeare's Globe Theater on London's Southbank, one of the most uniquely interesting venues of the Capital. Six carefully selected awards will be presented to both entrepreneurs and investors to represent achievements in the investment market as well as recognizing the "Angel investor of the Year".

BBAA Membership
The BBAA exists to represent the UK early stage investment community. We perform a number of roles which include:

Promoting angel and venture capital as smart money and the primary mechanism for fast growth businesses to fund their capital requirements;

Facilitating contact and the exchange of best practice and experience between angel groups, VCs and other sources of early stage funding through networking events and regular communication with our membership;

Having an agreed code of conduct for all Members to promote best practice and transparency across the industry;

Engaging in regular dialogue with Government, opinion formers and leaders at a national level to help shape policy for the benefit of the industry.
Today the BBAA represents Business Angels across the UK, including those in Business Angel networks, synidcates and small groups, as well as individual investors.The BBAA also works with a growing number of VC's that recognize the importance of connecting with the early stage community, as well as a large number professional service providers and advisors including accountancy and law firms, corporate finance, banks, RDAs, universities and public policy-makers.
