General Capital Venture Finance is a leading independent finance company focussed on providing innovative and flexible funding solutions across a wide range of commercial specialisations.

Our primary focus is to support good businesses with investment packages that enable equity incentivised management to achieve established and agreed financial goals. Our transaction values range from £100K to £1M, constructed as debt and equity, and we purposefully seek investments in the 'equity gap' between the early stage friends and family round and more mature development capital. Client businesses may be at any stage of growth and our investments take many forms including early stage capital requirements, turnarounds, MBO/MBI and pre flotation mezzanine finance. In all cases we like to see equity commitment from the Directors and to see interest from other private investors. In the latter scenario our funds are often used to further leverage business angel investment.

We further assist clients in structuring the necessary financial support to continue to enable their businesses to grow. This will often be in the form of necessary assistance with regard to next round funding or introduction to the public equity markets.
