In the wake of the latest Report launched this week “Make Business Your Business” and the new Start-up loans initiative, led by Lord Young, the Government’s Enterprise Tsar, the Investoo Business Angels is launching its new Be An Angel portal and campaign aimed at encouraging more individuals to put their spare finance and business experience to work behind Britain’s entrepreneurs.

IBA are delighted to announce that former IBA Director, Simon Acland, has had his book ‘Angels, Dragons and Vultures’ shortlisted for the People’s Book Prize in the Non-fiction category.

Angels, Dragons and Vultures is a guide for entrepreneurs to all aspects of venture capital. It provides advice on different sources of funding, suggests how to raise money successfully, and exposes the implications of different deals. Then it tells you how to manage your new investors and maps out the route to a successful exit.
