Envestors Limited was established in 2004 by Bob Taylor, Scott Haughton, Nick Taylor and Oliver Woolley, all of whom have been either entrepreneurs and/or investors. In 2005, it opened an office in Dubai with Edward Roderick and David Moleshead. In 2009 Envestors opened in Jersey, supported by the Jersey State and in 2010 launched in Manchester with Imran Hakim, Scott Fletcher, Mike Perls and Tom Wilkins.

Envestors, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, comprises Envestors Private Investor Club, a network of 700+ private individuals looking to invest between £20,000 and £2m in high-growth businesses, usually under the EIS, Envestors Corporate Finance, which acts for companies seeking finance of up to £5m or seeking a merger or acquisition, and Envestors Placements, which matches non-executive talent with the companies looking to strengthen the management team.We review over 100 business proposals a month, of which we select 2-3 to present to our investors. We have offices in London, Manchester, Jersey and Dubai and in 2009/10 we won “Private Investor Network of the Year” at Investor Allstars.
