Capital for Enterprise

Incorporated in March 2007 as a private limited company Capital for Enterprise Limited (‘CfEL’) commenced actively trading on the 1st of April 2008. It is an asset management business specialising in designing and managing support programmes for SME finance.  Its position in the SME financial markets provides it with a unique ability to inform Government policy on those markets.

CFEL manage a number of investment and debt support programmes, including the Enterprise Capital Funds and the Enterprise Finance Guarantee, but do not make direct investment into businesses.  We do, however, have some co-investment funding and can invest alongside lead investors or venture capital funds in specific circumstances.
