It was formed when a group of successful entrepreneurs and business men from a range of commercial and financial backgrounds met to discuss how they could pass on to others the practical experience gained during the course of their careers.

It was this desire to help entrepreneurs and promote their ideas - by passing on knowledge - that set Octopus Ventures apart from the outset.

All our independent investors are financially self-sufficient having enjoyed successful careers in their own fields of endeavour. To date our members have invested over £14 million in 25 companies and have played an integral part in helping these businesses evolve.
